Fundraising
- Sponsorship letter feedback
- We weren’t told no to seek sponsorship, but we’re not supported on it. We should be more specific on what we want if we do ask for it
- Concern on having the city pay for the “party”
- We might be on the referendum in 2024, so they want us to be cautious of what we ask for
- We should target who we ask to support us and be specific on what we want
- Working on ideas to raise money for the 25th anniversary specifically. Target certain businesses for support on just this event

- We weren’t told no, but he would prefer an open house versus having any community dollars going to a party
- He’s not excited about us reaching out to community members. He emphasized that we’re heading to a referendum, now might not be a good time to ask for money and spend it on a “party”
- Letter was reformatted to be just a fundraising letter, verses for the 25th anniversary
- Our name should be out there for the referendum. We call it an open house and not a block party and in the school
